PRIVACY
We only collect personal data when you send us a photo or video. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no requests to other companies' servers.
1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
Drifting Passion, Norway. Contact: post@drifting-passion.com. We follow the EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.
2. HOSTING
The website is delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data from every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We use this service because a website cannot be delivered without it (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not receive or store these logs. Cloudflare may process the data outside the EEA under the safeguards described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
3. FONTS, SCRIPTS AND IMAGES
Every font, script, image, 3D model and sound file on this site is served from our own domain. Your browser makes no requests to other providers while you are here.
4. WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The game on the Play page keeps your car setup, camera choice, and your own best scores and lap time in your browser's local storage, so they are there next time. This is needed for the features you use, it is not used for tracking, and it never leaves your device. Clear the site's data in your browser to remove it.
5. MOTION SENSORS
The site does not read your phone's motion or orientation sensors. On a phone you steer with the touch pads.
6. EMAILS YOU SEND US
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We keep the conversation for as long as it takes to handle your request, then delete it on request.
7. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS YOU SEND US
If you send us a photo or video on the Submit page, we store the file, your Instagram username, the car and place you write, that you agreed to the submission terms and which version, and the time you sent it. We use this to look at it, to publish it with your credit if we choose it, and to document that you gave us permission (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
The upload is stored by Cloudflare (R2) until our own server in Norway downloads it, normally within minutes, and is then deleted there. Before anything is published we remove location data (GPS) and other hidden information from the file. If we publish it, Instagram (Meta) receives the photo or video and your username. What we do not publish is deleted within 30 days. For what we publish, we keep the file and the record of your permission while the post is up and for three years after it comes down.
You can ask us to take your photo or video down or delete your data at any time: email post@drifting-passion.com with the reference number you got after sending.
8. LINKS TO OTHER PLATFORMS
Buttons on this site open YouTube. Nothing is sent to YouTube until you click. After you click, Google's own privacy policy applies.
9. AI-GENERATED FILMS
The films we make are made with artificial intelligence and are labelled as AI-generated. They do not show real people. Photos and clips our followers send us are real, credited to the person who shot them.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you can object to processing. Email post@drifting-passion.com. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
11. CHANGES
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
